I LOVE Fleur Di Lis!  I live in Louisiana and our beautiful countryside is bathed in old timey faith.  Here the symbol of fleur di lis is taught from an early age to be the symbol of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.  Every time I see a fleur di lis, I want to cross myself in rememberance of the many blessings and the fabulously good life He has seen fit to send me.  Not that I don’t have trials – everybody does, but you have to look beyond that and know that where you are is where God has led you with your permission.  It’s all attitiude, you know.  Take Mother Teresa for example.  Poor as a church mouse, she was.  But, thank you Lord, she was priceless!  She had a good life because her love for the Lord led to her life’s happiness – serving the poor.  What a saint!

Wednesday marks the beginning of the Lenten season for us Catholics.  I’m still trying to decide what I’m going to sacrifice for penance.  This year, it’s going to have to be something I will really miss!

Happy Mardi Gras everybody!

This is an 8 inch bracelet you can find in my etsy shop.

My Latest Custom Orders

I do accept custom orders, ya know!  What could be more fun than to create something special for someone you love?  Check these out and let me know what you think.

This precious tee-tiny rosary is waiting for a certain little precious tee-tiny baby girl’s baptism!  Made of Swarovski Crystal.

Eight year old Cooper will be making his first communion soon and he will receive this rosary with the Communion crucifix and St. Michael charm from his Great Grandma!

A lucky little four year old princess will be receiving, not one but two, sets of necklace/bracelet combos for her birthday.  Can you see the 4mm crystals inside the flowers?  When she gets older, she will be able to link the necklace and bracelet to make a longer version.

A convert to the Catholic faith will be receiving this rosary on her Confirmation from her sponsor.  The Three Mary’s crucifix has a tiny bead attached to symbolize a ‘drop of His blood’ and will hopefully remind her that no matter what she has been through in her life, Jesus is there for her.  He shed His blood for her.  His mercy never fails.

I have two etsy shops now!  for your jewelry and for your rosaries and Christian jewelry.   Come on by!

I am excited to show a new line I’ve been working on for a little while!  Once again . . . fooling around one day and this is what I came up with . . .

When I had to stop working, I took my watch off because it was an integral part of my job in health care, and to be quit honest, it kinda hurt that I wouldn’t need it anymore.  I didn’t want that constant reminder.     Wait.    Am I being honest here??  Heck-fire, I was all too happy to take that watch off!!!  And I haven’t missed it since 1997.  That is until I made that one on the bottom left hand of the picture – you know – that GARNET knit bangle bracelet watch!  (Oh yeah, that one’s mine!)   From left to right starting at the top row:  Genuine amethyst bangle bracelet watch,  clear glass chip bangle bracelet watch (I call it ICE ICE BABY, lol), multi-color beaded watch bracelet,  there’s my garnet watch, and last a really sweet Valentine watch bracelet.

If you want to see more pics of them, I will be listing them in my etsy shop  😀  soon.

Here is another line I am particularly proud to present:

Tiny Baby Baptism Rosaries!

I have made a couple of pink ones already but they were snapped up before they were even finished!  They are strung on very strong jeweler’s wire and are so petite!  The one on the left has blue Swarovski crystals and the one on the right has pearl finish glass beads.  Talk about some fantastic baby shower or baptism gifts!!

These will be listed in my NEW etsy shop:

I’m seperating my jewelry line from my rosary line.  I don’t know why – it jut sounded like a neat idea.

Here’s a novel idea – would you mind leaving a rating or a comment if you like what you see?  Look at the top of the page for the rating meter.  And don’t be afraid to share my blog with your friends too.  It would help my designing muse if I knew what you like – or even if this post is being read!
